The study highlights the key milestones and strategic initiatives adopted by Romania, providing a comparative analysis with Estonia, a recognized leader in the field of e-government. The research provides recommendations for further improvements and explores future trends and perspectives, highlighting the effect of emerging technologies, such as blockchain and artificial intelligence.
